DO I NEED AN ACCESS CODE FOR ACTIVE LEARNING?

Not necessarily. If you purchased from our website you will not have an access code. If your course is offered through inclusive access you may not need an access code. Access codes are purchased through the bookstore, often printed on the inside cover of the print book, or as part of an ebook. If you can access your material, you do not need an access code.

I HAVE AN ACCESS CODE FOR COGNELLA ACTIVE LEARNING. WHAT NOW?

Our access codes begin with “AL-” or “EB-.” Visit store.cognella.com/codes/redeem to redeem your access code. Make sure to include the “AL-” or the “EB-” and that there are no spaces in the code. When prompted, enter your school-affiliated email address (the same email you would use to log into your campus account). 

You can only redeem an access code once. 

If your course is hosted,  you will receive a course enrollment invitation email (check your spam and junk mail folders) with a link redirecting you to our Active Learning website, where you will also need to create an Active Learning account (separate from the Cognella Store account created upon purchase).

If your course is integrated, you will access it through your course LMS page (ie, Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, etc). As soon as you redeem the access code, you should see the material for the course in your LMS.
